It cost around $3,400 new in 1950 which is over $30,000 in 2014 money.

Pretty nice! I bought a '48 Custom Eight (top model) about one year ago. It was in the same price range but the condition is a lot rougher. Interior isn't very well shown in the picture so it might be worse than the exterior. Seats do look decent though.
